Indian Wells
Ask any resident of Indian Wells and they will surely be happy to tell you that, “once you experience the peace, natural beauty and sophistication of this glorious city, you will never want to leave.” So when that happens, give Rob Zwemmer a call and find out how you can secure your dream home in this spectacular desert oasis. World-class golf courses will be minutes from your front door, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden with the Pacific Life Open every year and fabulous world-class concerts to enjoy, and the pampering resort spas including Hyatt Grand Champions and The Renaissance Esmeralda—destinations that people travel to from all over the world. Art and culture abound with the Indian Wells Desert Symphony, and the lecture series that brings top celebrities, politicians and other notables to the center stage at The Desert Town Hall. What a fabulous place to call your home!
Native Americans first visited the region that became Indian Wells centuries ago.
After the discovery of gold along the Colorado River, it became a stop on the Bradshaw Stage line, which spanned the desert with Los Angeles. In 1916 Caleb Cook, a pioneer of the valley’s date industry, moved to Indian Wells and established the first significant Deglet Noor grove. He was instrumental in driving the industry to great heights in a short span of time by importing date palms from Egypt, and mentoring novice date ranchers.
Fast forward to present day Indian Wells and find the home of some of the country’s wealthiest retirees. Notables from the political, business and entertainment fields flock to world-class golf courses once played by entertainer Bing Crosby and President Dwight D. Eisenhower. Indian Wells is a scenic valley city that plays an important role as host to a number of cultural and special events, concerts and celebrated sports tournaments.
The Indian Wells Tennis Garden, a 16,000-seat stadium, is home to The Pacific Life Open, the world’s sixth largest and most prestigious tennis event in the world. The city has served as host sponsor to both the annual Frank Sinatra Countrywide Celebrity Invitational Golf Tournament and Bob Hope Chrysler Classic at the world-famous Indian Wells Country Club.

The Renaissance Esmeralda, Hyatt Grand Champions and Miramonte resorts are a few of the world’s finest desert getaways, serving as conference destinations for groups ranging from Fortune 500 companies to the Republican National Committee.
The Indian Wells Desert Symphony provides the valley with five-star performances accompanied by some of the world’s foremost musicians and singers. The Desert Town Hall of Indian Wells lecture series features guest appearances by prominent celebrities and personalities.
In addition to preserving its resort and residential status, Indian Wells hopes to become the Coachella Valley’s financial district, enticing brokerage, accounting and banking firms to build and settle within its city limits.
