La Quinta, CA- April 24, 2011-To help offer support and salute April's National Child Abuse Prevention Month, local Realtor Rob Zwemmer, Keller Williams Realty of La Quinta, is sponsoring in conjunction with the Olive Crest organization, a day trip for 19 foster children and their parents to Disneyland in Anaheim. The trip will take place on Tuesday, April 26th.

"We hope to create some great and happy memories for these kids that have been placed by Olive Crest with foster families due to the challenging lifestyles they experienced at home," said Zwemmer.

Since 1973, Olive Crest has brought hope and helped to create bright, positive futures for abused, at-risk and neglected children. Currently, approximately 1,000 children and families are served by Olive Crest, an organization committed to offering programs that extend compassion, commitment and healing. Zwemmer and his staff are proud to be a contributing part of their efforts.

"This is such an important cause everyone should get involved in. The care and safety of children is a growing concern as many families right now are torn apart by economic issues, mental illness, all sorts of major challenges. Unfortunately, it impacts the children of the household negatively. It is so gratifying to be able to partner with Olive Crest and offer this special day for these local kids," Zwemmer added.

Olive Crest has locations throughout Southern California, the Pacific Northwest and Nevada.
